Part-Time Registered Nurse

Pottawattamie County 911 Telecommunications Operator Applicant Instructions:

  • Please read the Job Description carefully.  If you cannot meet the essential functions, knowledge, ability, education and physical demands of the job, you cannot proceed any further with the application process. 
  • Please read the Minimum Standards, Requirements, and Qualifications carefully. If you do not meet these standards, you cannot proceed any further with the application process.
  • If you do meet these minimum standards, please sign off on both and return to the Board of Supervisor’s Office and proceed by completing an application.
  • Once completed, the application is to be returned to the Board of Supervisor’s Office no later than August 29, 2008 at 4:30 PM.
  • Applicants selected for further screening will be notified of the testing date. You will be required to produce a photo ID, proof of education (diploma or GED) and DD214 (if applicable).  There is a $10.00 testing fee due at this time; cash only, exact change.
  • Successful test scores and applications will be kept on file for 1 year from date of testing.

 

 


 

Receptionist - Attorney

The Pottawattamie County Attorney is announcing a hiring process for the position of Receptionist.  This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. – 4:30 P.M.  Pottawattamie County is an equal opportunity employer. 

Essential Job Duties:
This position is responsible for receiving departmental visitors in person, answering telephone calls for multiple lines, answering questions and referring visitors/callers to appropriate sources for assistance. This position also assists other departmental staff with general office clerical work and data entry; prepares and maintains reports and records according to departmental procedures. Prompt and regular attendance is essential to the position.  See attached job description for additional duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
Applicant must successfully pass pre-employment screenings including medical exam, drug test and background check.
